McFadden Farm
My stepfather, Guinness McFadden, a New York native, wandered Northern California in the early 1070s looking for fertile ground to plant an organic vineyard. Fast forward and he has a thriving organic herb business and grows grapes in Potter Valley. I spent part of my childhood feeding chickens, picking grapes and loving the farm and valley Guinness and my sister, Knox, still call home. www.mcfaddenfarm.com

Bloem Box
Laura has the most beautiful collection called Bloem Box. Brightly colored gift boxes that contain seed tape that will grow the blossom featured atop the gift box. Laura swears that her colorful boxes were in part inspired by the paper lanterns and bridesmaid dresses at my wedding. www.bloembox.com

Firefly Home
If you're ever in Thomasville, make a point to drop in on my sister in law, Nan, (yes, the very same Nan that our line is named for) in her stylish and fresh shop, Firefly. It's on our main downtown street,
Broad Street. You can't miss it, and you'll love it. You might even find one of us in there looking for design inspiration or buying one of a kind jewelry. If you can't make it to Thomasville, check out her web
site that showcases some of her favorite finds: fireflyhome.com
